Overview
What a deep cleanse facial does
A deep cleanse facial focuses on removing what builds up on the skin’s surface and in the pores: oil, dead skin cells, make-up and everyday grime. Where a relaxation facial puts comfort first, a deep cleanse puts the condition of your skin first. It is a practical treatment for skin that looks dull, feels congested or tends to get blackheads around the nose, chin and forehead.
Deep cleanse facials generally follow a structured sequence of cleansing, exfoliating, softening, clearing and hydrating, and the Deluxe Deep Cleanse Facial is built around that same idea. The details change with your skin. Oily and congested skin may get more time on exfoliation and pore clearing, while dry or sensitive skin gets a gentler approach with more focus on hydration.
A facial can help skin look clearer and brighter, but it is not a medical treatment. If you have persistent acne, rosacea or a skin condition that worries you, it is worth seeing your GP or a dermatologist as well.
Treatment benefits
Why clients choose deep cleanse facial with us
- 01
Clears surface congestion
A deep cleanse lifts oil, make-up residue and dead skin that daily cleansing can miss, which can help skin look clearer and feel less clogged.
- 02
Tailored on the day
Your skin is checked before anything starts, and the products and steps are chosen for how your skin is behaving that day, not a fixed script.
- 03
A reset for your routine
Starting from a clean, exfoliated base helps your home skincare go on more evenly, and you can ask questions about your routine while you are here.
- 04
Easy to fit in
With the clinic open 7 days until 9pm, a facial is easy to book after work or on the weekend.
How it works
What happens at your appointment

Skin check
We ask about your skincare, any sensitivities and what you would like to improve, then look at your skin to decide which steps and products suit it.
Cleanse and exfoliate
Make-up and surface oil are removed with a double cleanse, followed by exfoliation matched to your skin, gentler for sensitive skin and more thorough for oily skin.
Steam and extractions where suitable
Warmth helps soften the skin, and blocked pores may be cleared gently where appropriate. Extractions are never forced, and we skip them on skin that is too reactive.
Mask, hydrate and protect
A mask suited to your skin is applied, then moisturiser and, for daytime appointments, sun protection to finish.

How often to book a facial
Many people book a deep cleanse roughly once a month, which lines up loosely with the skin’s natural renewal cycle. Others come in before an event, at the change of season, or whenever their skin starts to feel congested. There is no single right answer, and our guide on how often you should get a facial walks through the options.
If you want a stronger exfoliation between cleanses, microdermabrasion or dermaplaning can be booked separately, and LED light therapy is sometimes paired with a facial. We can suggest a sensible combination for your skin rather than stacking treatments for the sake of it.
Before and after your facial
Come as you are, although arriving without heavy make-up saves time. Let us know about any active skincare such as retinoids or exfoliating acids, recent peels, waxing on the face, or laser treatments, because these can make skin more sensitive to exfoliation.
Afterwards, skin can look slightly pink for a short time, especially if extractions were done. Keep your routine simple for a day or so: a gentle cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen. Avoid scrubs, strong actives and heavy make-up until your skin settles, and try not to touch or pick at the area.

FAQ
Deep cleanse facial questions
What is the Deluxe Deep Cleanse Facial?
It is the clinic’s thorough cleansing facial, designed to clear surface oil, dead skin and congestion. The steps are tailored to your skin type on the day. It suits most people who want clearer, fresher-feeling skin.
Will I break out after a deep cleanse facial?
Some people notice a few small spots in the days afterwards, particularly after extractions or if it is their first facial in a while. This usually settles quickly. Keeping your routine gentle and avoiding touching your face helps.
Does a deep cleanse facial include extractions?
Gentle extractions may be done where appropriate and where your skin can tolerate them. They are never forced. If you would rather skip extractions, just tell us at the start.
Can I wear make-up after a facial?
It is best to wait until later in the day, or the next day if possible, so your skin can settle. If you need to wear something, choose light, non-comedogenic products. Always use sunscreen when going outside.
Can a facial treat acne?
A facial can help skin look clearer and feel less congested, but it is not a medical treatment for acne. For persistent or painful breakouts, please see your GP or a dermatologist. We can still help you keep skin clean and comfortable alongside their advice.
